MOUT Site: day/night color camera system
The MOUT
“Tracker” camera provides sensitivity never seen before in
any low light CCD camera. The special ultra-low light sensitivity is attained
by special processing of the video signal directly inside the CCD. The
simultaneous use of in-frame and inter-frame video signal processing allows
the camera to increase sensitivity up to 600 times. AN AMAZING 0.00005lux!
The Tracker incorporates anti-blooming circuit technology to reduce the size of lost image when compared to image intensified cameras. It also greatly increases the usable video obtained in back or side light scenarios.
One of the special features is the tremendous near IR spectrum sensitivity. When installed in a MOUT (Military Operations Urban Terrain) training site with one of our special IR illuminators, the Tracker can see in total darkness. The IR illumination is completely undetectable to current US or foreign night vision systems. This allows for a realistic training environment to the trainee while the evaluators see in perfect light on their monitors.
